Well, they say that a picture is worth a thousand words. And I’ve got about 3 million pictures of the Eiffel tower. So… that’s a lot of supposed words. In all seriousness though, the Eiffel Tower is truly stunning. It’s iconic to the point of almost being a bit cliché. There’s precious little that people haven’t written about it. It’s been photographed from every possible angle and vantage point. Nevertheless, I don’t foresee myself ever growing weary of photographing it and then proceeding to shamelessly post those photographs on all of my applicable social media outlets. Nor am I likely to tire of writing about it either. However, since it’s a highly doubtful scenario in which anyone will want to read an entire post about my adoration of the Eiffel Tower – especially since I’ve already written a post pertaining to my first visit to the Tower – I will leave it at a simple photoessay.
This one is taken from the very edge of the Jardin des Tuileries where it meets Place de la Concorde with the Luxor obelisk in the foreground.
I was a little lost when I took this one. When I finally popped out from the taller buildings I could se the Tower from a distance so I just followed the sight of it until I got there since I knew how to get back to the Best Western I was staying at from the Tower.
What was your impression of the Eiffel Tower?
